The Montepulciano DOP from the 1897 Line, produced by the Nestore Bosco winery, is a red wine that fully expresses the tradition and authenticity of the Abruzzo region. Made exclusively from Montepulciano grapes, this wine stands out for its aromatic intensity and well-balanced structure, evolving in the winery following traditional methods that highlight its unique characteristics.

Visually, it presents a deep ruby red color, with garnet reflections that develop with aging. On the nose, the bouquet is rich, characterized by notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and plum, enriched with hints of spices and chocolate, partly due to a light passage in barrique which adds complexity without overwhelming the fruity profile.

On the palate, the 1897 Line by Nestore Bosco offers a robust yet harmonious tasting experience. The acidity is well-balanced by the softness of the tannins, which are mature and velvety. The entry on the palate is warm, almost enveloping, developing into a long and pleasantly spicy finish.

This Montepulciano DOP pairs wonderfully with rustic Abruzzo cuisine, such as red meat roasts, baked lamb, or aged cheeses. It is also an excellent companion for family evenings or special occasions, where the richness of the wine can be fully appreciated.

A noble representative of Abruzzo viticulture, the 1897 Line - Montepulciano DOP by Nestore Bosco is an excellent choice for lovers of robust and characteristic wines. A true celebration of the qualities that only Montepulciano, cultivated in the lands of Abruzzo, can offer.
