Kante's Malvasia IGT is a white wine that captures the essence of the Malvasia variety in a unique expression, thanks to the expertise and passion of the Kante winery, located in the heart of the Friuli Venezia Giulia wine region. This wine promises a distinctive sensory experience, born from the harmony between tradition and innovation that characterizes Kante.

With a straw yellow color and golden highlights, Kante's Malvasia IGT offers an intriguing and complex olfactory bouquet. The aromatic notes weave together white flowers, peach tones, and delicate hints of aromatic herbs, reflecting the unique terroir from which the wine originates. Additionally, the subtle presence of toasted and slightly spicy aromas hints at the skilled use of wood during the winemaking process.

On the palate, the wine is balanced and fresh, with excellent acidity supporting its structure. The flavors are consistent with the nose, featuring a beautiful persistence of white fruit and a slightly bitter aftertaste that invites another sip. Kante's Malvasia IGT is a wine that reflects the ability to combine intensity and finesse, making it ideal for pairing with light appetizers, fish dishes or seafood, and an excellent choice as an aperitif.

Grown on limestone soils and hand-harvested to ensure the highest quality, this wine not only tells the story of its land but also of Kante winery's commitment to creating wines that are pure expressions of their environment. A true gem for lovers of white wine who seek something unique and distinctive.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
