Masseria Maìme from Tormaresca is a Negroamaro Salento IGT that presents with honesty and simplicity. The color is lively ruby with violaceous highlights; on the nose it shows hints of ripe red and black fruits such as cherry and plum, together with light herbal and spicy notes evoking the Mediterranean scrub. The aroma remains clear without excess, inviting tasting without artifices. Its simplicity is consistent with the winery's style, offering an immediate and recognizable profile.

On the palate it is balanced, with medium structure and tannins that are present but not aggressive, supporting the drinkability and making it pleasant. It pairs easily with everyday dishes: tomato-based pasta, grilled meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at about 16–18 °C; a broad glass will accentuate the aromas. It is also suitable to be enjoyed relatively young, retaining the fruit's pleasantness.
