The Merlot Colli Euganei DOC from Cantina Fasolo is a red wine of great balance and finesse, produced from vineyards nestled in the idyllic area of the Colli Euganei in Veneto. This region is renowned for its volcanic soil and mild climate, ideal conditions for cultivating the Merlot grape variety, which here finds a particularly harmonious expression.

Fasolo's Merlot Colli Euganei DOC appears with an intense and seductive ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet, weaving together aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, with spicy sensations and subtle hints of vanilla, imparted by wood aging.

On the palate, the wine is structured yet soft, with delicate tannins that make it pleasantly round and accessible even when young. The acidity is well-balanced, helping to maintain freshness and vivacity, leading to a persistent and satisfying finish.

Ideal for pairing with grilled or stewed red meats, traditional Venetian dishes, or even medium-aged cheeses, the Merlot Colli Euganei DOC from Cantina Fasolo offers a refined expression of an international grape variety, interpreted with a distinctly local character.

Recommended for those who appreciate elegant yet characterful red wines, this Merlot is an excellent choice both for a special dinner and for enriching a personal cellar with a specimen that beautifully represents the Colli Euganei terroir.
