The Merlot Lazio - Terre dei Grifi by Fontana Candida is a red wine that best expresses the distinctive characteristics of the Merlot grape variety, enhanced by the unique terroir of Lazio. Fontana Candida, a winery renowned for the quality of its wines, carefully selects Merlot grapes to create Terre dei Grifi, a wine that combines the softness and fruitiness typical of Merlot with the freshness and minerality imparted by the soil and climate of the region.

Terre dei Grifi presents itself with an intense ruby red color, enriched by violet reflections that highlight its youthfulness. On the nose, it offers a rich and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, enriched by delicate spicy nuances and a slight vegetal scent that adds aromatic complexity.

On the palate, the Merlot Terre dei Grifi shows a soft and harmonious structure, with velvety and well-integrated tannins supporting a medium-full body. The balance between acidity and fruitiness is perfect, leading to a long and pleasantly persistent finish, where notes of ripe fruit and spices blend into a refined gustatory harmony.

This wine pairs wonderfully with dishes based on red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses, but it is also excellent with flavorful first courses or traditional Italian dishes. Its versatility makes it ideal both for everyday consumption and special occasions, always guaranteeing a satisfying tasting experience.

With Merlot Lazio - Terre dei Grifi, Fontana Candida confirms its commitment to enhancing international grape varieties within the context of the Lazio terroir, offering a wine that represents quality, tradition, and innovation.
