Le Altane's Merlot Trevenezie IGT is a red wine that interprets with balance and refinement one of the most beloved international grape varieties, grown in the suitable lands of Northeast Italy. It appears in the glass with an intense ruby red color, with slight violet reflections.
On the nose, it releases enveloping aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry, blackberry, and plum, accompanied by slight spicy notes and a typical herbaceous touch of the grape variety. On the palate, it is soft and velvety, with delicate tannins and good aromatic persistence, leaving a pleasantly fruity finish.
The vinification takes place in steel, with a short aging period to preserve the freshness and immediacy of the fruit. Le Altane's Merlot Trevenezie is a versatile red, suitable both for everyday dishes and richer preparations: ideal with cold cuts, grilled meats, pasta with ragù, and medium-aged cheeses.
