The Merlot DOC Maremma Toscana "Messiio" IGT by Tenuta Fertuna is a sublime expression of the Merlot vine, grown in the sunny and windy lands of the Tuscan Maremma. This wine is the result of Tenuta Fertuna's passion and commitment to creating labels that reflect the richness and diversity of the Maremma terroir, combining winemaking tradition and innovation.

"Messiio" represents the flagship of Tenuta Fertuna's production, a pure Merlot that captures the essence of the vine with a mastery and elegance rarely achieved. Thanks to careful vinification and aging in oak barriques, the wine acquires complexity, structure and aromatic depth that make it unique in its kind.

Visually, the "Messiio" has an intense ruby red color, with reflections that tend towards garnet with maturation. On the nose, it expresses a wide range of aromas, where notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and plums, intertwine with nuances of spices, chocolate and a light balsamic touch, creating a rich and inviting bouquet.

In the mouth, the wine is generous and enveloping, with silky tannins and an extraordinary harmony between power and elegance. The perfect balance between acidity and body gives "Messiio" a surprising freshness, which supports the intense flavors and guarantees a long aromatic persistence, with a finish that leaves room for spicy and vanilla notes.

Ideal in combination with structured and tasty dishes, such as roast red meat, game and mature cheeses, the Merlot DOC Maremma Toscana "Messiio" IGT is also a superb meditation wine, capable of offering moments of pure tasting pleasure thanks to its complexity and richness of nuances.

In conclusion, the "Messiio" IGT of Tenuta Fertuna is not only an excellent expression of Merlot, but also a testimony to the oenological excellence of the Tuscan Maremma, which manages to combine the expressive power of the vine with an unmistakable Italian style, making it a privileged choice for wine lovers looking for authentic and unforgettable emotions.
