Subtle smoke that doesn't cover the core, vegetal notes of fresh agave and a slight pleasant ash. On the nose there are hints of aromatic herbs and citrus peel, with a discreet pepper that gives movement to the bouquet; the character is clean and straightforward, suited to those seeking a direct yet characterful distillate.

On the palate the sip is dry, savory and well balanced, with a lean texture and well-integrated warmth that doesn't overpower the freshness. The finish is smoky, with returns of bitter almond and a mineral close that invites a second taste. Best enjoyed neat, slightly chilled, it also works well in cocktails that want to play on smoke; as a pairing it finds great partners in grilled or smoked dishes, aged cheeses and even dark chocolate to contrast the earthier notes.
