The Monica di Sardegna DOC Superiore "Iselis Rosso" by Argiolas represents an elevated and refined expression of the Monica vine, one of the most characteristic native varieties of Sardinia. This wine is part of the premium line of Argiolas, a winery that for generations has been synonymous with quality and innovation in the Sardinian wine scene, dedicated to the valorization of native vines through the production of wines that express the uniqueness of the island's terroir.

"Iselis Rosso" comes from Monica grapes selected in the Iselis vineyards, where the particular microclimate and fertile soils offer the ideal conditions for the cultivation of this vine. Attention to detail in the vineyard and careful winemaking, which includes the use of steel fermentation and barrique aging, give this wine a complexity and structure that goes beyond the traditional expression of Monica.

Visually, the wine has an intense and deep red color, with garnet reflections which testify to its maturity. On the nose, "Iselis Rosso" offers a rich bouquet of aromas, with predominant notes of ripe red fruits, such as blackberry and cherry, enriched by accents of vanilla, tobacco and chocolate, the result of the elegant passage in wood.

In the mouth, the wine is rich and enveloping, with a soft but present tannic structure, which balances perfectly with the acidity. The flavors of ripe fruit intertwine with spicy and balsamic notes, leading to a long and persistent finish that leaves a sensation of fullness and satisfaction.

Ideal in combination with intense and tasty dishes, such as roasted red meats, game-based dishes, mature cheeses and traditional Sardinian recipes, "Iselis Rosso" is also a wine that invites meditation, capable of revealing its complexity and depth in time.

In conclusion, the Monica di Sardegna DOC Superiore "Iselis Rosso" by Argiolas is a tribute to the richness of the Monica vine and the Sardinian land, a wine that combines tradition in an exemplary way with a modern approach to winemaking, offering a unique tasting experience and memorable.
