The Montecucco Rosso DOC "Sidus" from Pianirossi is one of the most authentic expressions of the terroir of the Tuscan Maremma. This red wine is primarily made with Sangiovese grapes, complemented by small percentages of other local varieties, which contribute to creating a harmonious and complex blend.

The wine presents an intense ruby red color, typical of Sangiovese-based wines. On the nose, Sidus offers a rich and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, enriched by nuances of sweet spices like vanilla and cinnamon, derived from aging in wood.

On the palate, the Montecucco Rosso DOC "Sidus" stands out for its solid and well-balanced structure. The tannins are soft and silky, perfectly integrated with the lively acidity. The wine exhibits a medium-full body, with a long persistence and a pleasantly spicy aftertaste.

Ideal for pairing with hearty dishes from traditional Tuscan cuisine, such as roasts, game, and aged cheeses, this wine can also be enjoyed on its own, as a moment of pure pleasure. A short period of decantation before serving is recommended to enhance all its qualities.

Aged in barriques for several months, the Montecucco Rosso DOC "Sidus" from Pianirossi is a wine that can be enjoyed immediately or left to refine in the cellar for a few years, further developing its complexity. A true gem from Maremma that reflects the passion and commitment of Pianirossi in creating wines of superior quality.
