The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC from Velenosi is a red wine that embodies the tradition and excellence of Abruzzo winemaking. This wine is produced exclusively from carefully selected Montepulciano grapes from the Velenosi winery's vineyards, located in the heart of the Abruzzo region.

Visually, it presents an intense ruby red color, hinting at the aromatic richness that characterizes it. On the nose, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC from Velenosi offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, enriched with hints of spices and a light touch of vanilla due to the aging in wood.

On the palate, the wine is robust and well-structured. The entry is smooth, with a pleasant acidity that balances the tannic richness. The flavors of ripe fruit blend harmoniously with hints of chocolate and coffee, leaving room for a long and persistent finish.

Ideal for accompanying robust Italian dishes like roasts, game, and aged cheeses, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC from Velenosi is a wine that expresses the Abruzzo terroir with elegance and power. Serve at a temperature of around 18°C to enhance all its qualities.

The Velenosi winery has masterfully interpreted the potential of the Abruzzo territory with passion and dedication, producing a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC that is a true pride of this illustrious Italian wine-growing area.
