Don PX by Bodegas Toro Albalá is an extraordinarily unique dessert wine, produced in the Montilla-Moriles region, in the heart of Andalusia, Spain. Made exclusively from Pedro Ximenez grapes, this wine is known for its intensely dark color and rich, velvety texture.

The Pedro Ximenez grapes are left to dry in the sun to concentrate their natural sugars to the maximum, and are then pressed and fermented in a very controlled manner. The aging process, which takes place in oak barrels, further enriches the wine's character, giving it a complex bouquet of aromas that range from molasses, dried figs, and dates to hints of chocolate and coffee.

On the palate, Don PX presents a dominant sweetness, balanced by a surprising freshness that prevents it from being cloying. The persistence is long and pleasantly aromatic, making each sip a memorable experience that concludes with notes of toasted caramel and sweet spices.

Perfect for meditation or paired with desserts like chocolate cakes or blue cheeses, Don PX by Bodegas Toro Albalá is a true gem for lovers of sweet and intense wines.

Winery history
