The Morellino di Scansano from Val delle Rose is a red wine that captures the essence of the Maremma Toscana, a region known for its wild and pristine nature. This DOCG wine (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) embodies the passion and craftsmanship of local viticulture, offering an exceptionally intense olfactory and taste performance.

Primarily made from Sangiovese grapes, locally referred to as "Morellino," the wine features an elegant and robust structure. The color is typically a deep ruby red, tending towards garnet as it ages. The nose opens with vibrant notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, followed by spicy hints of black pepper and a slight scent of tobacco and leather, a result of its maturation in oak containers.

On the palate, the Morellino di Scansano Val delle Rose is balanced, with pleasant acidity and well-integrated tannins that contribute to a flavorful and lingering taste. Its complexity is expressed through a gustatory texture where fruit and spices blend harmoniously, leading to a long and satisfying finish.

This wine pairs perfectly with Tuscan cuisine: ideal with roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses. Its versatility also makes it suitable for everyday use, capable of elevating every meal from simple to special.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of about 18°C to fully enhance its qualities. A wine that not only tells the story of a region but also becomes the protagonist of every table.
