The Moscato d'Asti from Gianni Doglia is an authentic expression of the Piedmont region, globally known for producing wines of the highest quality. This sparkling sweet wine is produced exclusively with Moscato Bianco grapes, manually harvested in the hills around Asti, where the calcareous soil and favorable sun exposure allow for the cultivation of superior quality grapes.

Attention to sustainability is a fundamental pillar for the Gianni Doglia winery, which practices organic and sustainable agriculture, preserving the authenticity and purity of the fruit. The winemaking follows traditional methods: the grapes are gently pressed, and the must ferments at a controlled temperature to preserve all the typical aromatics of this varietal.

On tasting, Gianni Doglia's Moscato d'Asti offers a rich and aromatic bouquet with explosive notes of peach, orange blossom, and melon, accompanied by a light effervescence that enhances its freshness and liveliness. The palate is sweetly balanced, with a pleasant acidity that makes each sip refreshingly fresh and persistent.

With a moderate alcohol content, typical of the Moscato d'Asti style, this wine is ideal as an aperitif or paired with light desserts, fresh fruit, and fine pastries. Pairing with blue cheeses also represents an excellent choice for exploring intriguing contrasts.

A true gem for lovers of sweet and sparkling wines, Gianni Doglia's Moscato d'Asti represents a superior quality choice for celebrating special occasions or adding a touch of elegance to everyday pleasure moments.

Winery history
The family story begins with Eugenio Rivella, who in 1947 purchased land in the Annunziata hamlet of Castagnole delle Lanze to produce wine from his own grapes. Over the years management passed to the next generation and, from the late 1990s/early 2000s, to their son Gianni, an oenologist trained in enology and viticulture who has led the estate through its growth. From 2000 Gianni took direct charge of the estate, and in 2001 he vinified Moscato d'Asti from the family vineyards for the first time. In 2013 his sister Paola joined the business full-time. In 2022 Gianni was selected by Gambero Rosso as Winemaker of the Year.
