The Moscato d'Asti DOCG produced by Rizzi winery is a true gem in the landscape of Italian sweet wines. Native to the Piedmont region, this wine is famous for its finesse and its delicate aromatic notes. With a light straw yellow color, often accompanied by golden reflections, Rizzi's Moscato d'Asti presents intense aromas of peach, apricot, and floral notes of acacia and broom, typical of the Moscato grape.

On the palate, the wine is sweetly balanced, preserving a freshness and vivacity that pleasantly stimulates the palate without overwhelming it. Its effervescence is subtle, a characteristic that distinguishes it and makes the sip even more enjoyable. Moscato d'Asti typically has a relatively low alcohol content, making it an excellent accompaniment for light desserts or consumed on its own as an aperitif.

As for culinary pairing, this Moscato d'Asti beautifully matches with fruit-based desserts, jam tarts, or dry pastries. It is also an excellent choice to accompany dishes of blue cheeses, where the sweetness of the wine pleasantly contrasts the savoriness of the cheese.

Serve chilled, at about 6-8°C, to best enhance all its qualities. A glass of Rizzi's Moscato d'Asti is ideal to conclude a meal lightly or to make a moment of conviviality special.
