The Nierstein Riesling Trocken by Louis Guntrum is a dry white wine. Its name identifies the Riesling grape; in German, “Trocken” denotes a dry style. Nierstein is part of the name shown for this bottle. Without further information, it would be unwise to make specific claims about its vintage, aromatic profile or production. It is a choice to consider when looking for a non-sweet white wine to serve with a meal and a straightforward style is preferred.

At the table, it can be served chilled but not overly cold, to better appreciate its profile. It can accompany light dishes, fish, shellfish and vegetarian plates, or be offered as an aperitif. It may also suit an informal dinner and menus with clean flavours, while very intense or sweet pairings are best avoided. To let the wine come through, choose dishes that do not overpower it and serve it in white wine glasses. A simple option for those who enjoy Riesling in a dry style.
