The Norder Cuvee Blanc by Ploner exemplifies elegance and finesse in the white wine spectrum. This wine is the result of a wise selection of typical white grapes from the production area, carefully vinified to enhance their characteristics to the fullest.

Visually, it shows a light straw-yellow color, with brilliant reflections that hint at the freshness of the sip. On the nose, the Norder Cuvee Blanc offers an intense and persistent aromatic bouquet, where one can detect notes of white fruit such as peach and pear, enriched by floral nuances and subtle hints of aromatic herbs.

On the palate, the wine is elegantly balanced: the entry is soft and enveloping, followed by a pleasant acidity that gives liveliness and supports a long and pleasantly aromatic finish. The structure is well-defined, with moderate alcohol content making it extremely drinkable and suitable for a variety of occasions.

The Norder Cuvee Blanc by Ploner is excellent as an aperitif, but its versatility also makes it ideal to accompany light dishes such as fish appetizers, fresh salads, or delicate pasta and risotto dishes with spring vegetables.

A true tribute to the winemaking tradition, this cuvee invites enjoyment in company, providing a unique sensory experience that combines tradition and modernity. It is ideal for those seeking a white wine that speaks of terroir while also offering a fresh drinkability.

Winery history
Plonerhof was born from the conversion of an old farmhouse into a vineyard, led by the Tutzer family. The first bottling trials date back to the 2010s, with production consolidating in the early years of the following decade. The estate combines the owners' vine-nursery expertise with direct vineyard management, developing over the years an identity focused on low yields, clonal selection and quality wines.
Production philosophy
Vineyards are cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment, employing minimal interventions and a strong emphasis on manual work; at the winery the focus is on careful grape handling and a calibrated aging regime that highlights varietal and terroir characteristics. The estate has also undertaken projects on resistant grape varieties and clonal selection.
Terroir and vineyards
Marlengo hill: sandy-clay soils with occurrences of granite, schist and gneiss; vineyards on the valley-facing slopes with steep gradients, which promote a marked diurnal temperature range and the aromatic ripening of the grapes.
Awards and recognitions
Mentions and awards for some wines: the winery's Solaris has been awarded or mentioned in PIWI contexts; the Pinot Noir is positively mentioned in specialist guides and rankings.
