Winery history
The Gimonnet family has cultivated vineyards in the Champagne region for generations. Pierre Gimonnet began bottling under his own name in the first half of the 20th century. Today the maison is run by brothers Didier and Olivier Gimonnet, who have developed it by concentrating on the Chardonnay parcels of the Côte des Blancs.
Production philosophy
Emphasis on terroir and varietal purity: the wines are often vinified separately by parcel to preserve the characteristics of each individual soil. The estate prioritizes the preservation of reserves and winemaking aimed at maintaining freshness and finesse, with practices designed to showcase the older vines.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in the Côte des Blancs, the estate owns vineyards in the area's Premier Cru and Grand Cru villages, notably Cuis, and parcels in Cramant, Chouilly, Oger, Vertus, Aÿ and Mareuil‑sur‑Aÿ.
