Frantoio Basso Rice Oil is obtained from the rice germ, a valuable component of the bran extracted during the processing of the grain. Through a careful refining process, a clear oil is produced, with a delicate pale yellow color and a particularly neutral aromatic profile.
Thanks to its natural antioxidant content, it stands out for excellent stability at high temperatures, making it especially suitable for frying and sautéed dishes. Its low viscosity also promotes less absorption by foods during cooking.
In the kitchen, it is also appreciated for raw use: its delicate taste, with light sweet notes, makes it ideal for dressing salads, vegetables, fish dishes, and other cold preparations. It is also an excellent ingredient for making dressings and vinaigrettes, where it harmoniously combines with flavored vinegars, herbs, and spices, enhancing the ingredients without overpowering their flavors.
