The Ortrugo Frizzante DOC from the Colli Piacentini by Marchese Malaspina offers a slim, pleasant sparkling white. Visually it shows a delicate perlage and a bright straw-yellow color; on the nose there are fresh, straightforward impressions with hints of white flowers, green apple and citrus nuances, never intrusive. The body remains light, with a fine mousse that refreshes the palate and leaves a saline, lively sensation.

It works well as an aperitif and to accompany light dishes: seafood starters, summer salads, delicate fried fish or soft fresh cheeses. Serve chilled at around 6–8 °C in a simple white wine glass to highlight freshness and perlage. It is intended to be enjoyed young, when its vivacity is most evident, and represents an everyday, informal choice for those seeking a balanced, easy-drinking sparkling white.
