The Ortrugo Frizzante DOC from the Colli Piacentini by Marchese Malaspina offers a slim, pleasant sparkling white. Visually it shows a delicate perlage and a bright straw-yellow color; on the nose there are fresh, straightforward impressions with hints of white flowers, green apple and citrus nuances, never intrusive. The body remains light, with a fine mousse that refreshes the palate and leaves a saline, lively sensation.

It works well as an aperitif and to accompany light dishes: seafood starters, summer salads, delicate fried fish or soft fresh cheeses. Serve chilled at around 6–8 °C in a simple white wine glass to highlight freshness and perlage.
