Tenuta Fertuna's Pactio IGT is a sophisticated expression of the Tuscan Maremma territory, created through a careful selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grapes. This blend represents a harmonious encounter between international and native varieties, a symbol of the innovation and winemaking tradition of Tenuta Fertuna, a winery that has been able to establish itself for the quality and expressiveness of its wines.

Born from the collaboration and understanding between Tenuta Fertuna and another well-known figure in the wine world, Pactio IGT embodies the idea of a pact, of a close bond with the land and with tradition, while maintaining an eye towards the future and excellence. The winemaking is taken care of down to the smallest details, with the aim of enhancing the unique characteristics of each vine, integrating them into a balanced, complex and nuanced wine.

In the glass, Pactio presents an intense ruby red color, a prelude to a highly intense olfactory and gustatory experience. On the nose, lively notes of red and black fruit emerge, such as cherries, blackberries and a touch of plum, enriched by nuances of sweet spices, vanilla and a light trace of tobacco and chocolate, the result of aging in wood which gives the wine a harmonious and well integrated structure.

In the mouth, the wine reveals a perfect harmony between the freshness and liveliness of Sangiovese, the structure and depth of Cabernet Sauvignon and the softness and opulence of Merlot. The tannins are silky and well balanced, supported by a good acidity which guarantees the wine a pleasantly long and persistent sip, with a finish that returns to the fruity and spicy tones perceived on the nose.

Pactio IGT is a versatile wine, ideal for accompanying a wide range of dishes, from red meats to more elaborate dishes based on game and mature cheeses. Its complexity and elegance also make it suitable as a meditation wine, capable of offering a rich and satisfying tasting experience.

In conclusion, Tenuta Fertuna's Pactio IGT is a tribute to the richness of the Maremma territory and to the winemaking mastery of the winery, which with this wine expresses its philosophy of continuous research into quality and the most authentic expression of its terroiro.
