Paisan Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC from Bersano presents an immediate yet measured character: aromas of ripe cherry, rose petal and a subtle spicy note that doesn’t overpower the freshness. The bouquet is refined, with good clarity, while on the palate the wine confirms a balance typical of Nebbiolo d'Alba, with lively acidity and elegant tannins that support without weighing it down. The structure is medium, with a texture that can be decisive but not coarse.

In the glass you appreciate a clear progression: a fresh entry, a mid-palate that is savory and tannic just enough, and a pleasant, persistent finish that invites a second sip. Excellent paired with savory first courses with meat, moderately aromatic braises and aged cheeses that aren’t overly assertive; it shows best at around 16–18 °C and after a short decanting if you prefer the tannins softened. A Nebbiolo d'Alba offering good value, suitable both for everyday dining and informal occasions.
