This wine represents the excellence of the Pays d'Oc region, located in the south of France. Produced by the renowned winery Domaine des Homs, this label is a true tribute to the winemaking tradition of the area. The wine stands out for its intense aromatic note, where ripe red fruit aromas prevail, with nuances of aromatic herbs and a slight spicy touch, a result of aging in barrique.

The structure of the Pays d'Oc from Domaine des Homs is robust but balanced, with well-integrated tannins that blend delicately with the refreshing acidity. The long and persistent finish makes this wine particularly suitable for accompanying rich dishes, such as grilled red meats or aged cheeses.

The winemaking process is carried out with meticulous attention to detail, following both traditional and modern methods, to enhance the potential of the terroir and local grapes. A wine that not only tells the story of its land but is also an expression of the savoir-faire that Domaine des Homs preserves with passion.

Domaine des Homs – Winery in Minervois (Aude, Occitanie)

Discover the story and wines of Domaine des Homs.

An organic estate located in the heart of the Minervois (Rieux-Minervois, Aude) producing AOC Minervois and Vin de Pays d’Oc wines, as well as olive oil and local products.
Region: Minervois (Aude, Occitanie)
Country: Francia
Grapes: Chardonnay, Viognier, Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache, Muscat d'Alexandrie, Muscat Petit Grain
Certified organic by ECOCERT since 2006. Estate and vineyards in the Minervois, Aude, on the border between Carcassonne and Narbonne. Notable cuvées: Amandier, Clots de Pals, Paul, as well as Chardonnay and Viognier in Vin de Pays d’Oc. Low-intervention winemaking practices: fermentations with indigenous yeasts and, for some labels, no added sulfites at vatting. Integrated production with olive growing and wine tourism offerings.
Winery history
The estate stands on the site of a Roman/Carolingian villa where vines and olive trees were cultivated. It has been managed by the de Crozals family for generations and maintains a strong territorial continuity tied to the Minervois. The property reflects the long history of agricultural activity on the site and carries that legacy forward with careful attention to traditional practices and biodiversity.
Production philosophy
Grown under ECOCERT‑certified organic farming, with a low‑intervention winemaking approach: fermentations are often carried out by indigenous yeasts, and practices aim to preserve soil and biodiversity. Some cuvées are vinified without the addition of sulphites at encuvage.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the Minervois, between Carcassonne and Narbonne, on stony terraces at the foot of the Montagne Noire; the estate is close to the Espace Naturel Sensible de l’Estagnol and also cultivates olive and fruit trees to promote biodiversity.
