Franz Haas Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC combines elegance, finesse and freshness. Its intense straw-yellow color introduces a refined floral bouquet with aromas of acacia, sage, hay, almonds and sandalwood. With suitable bottle aging, delicate notes of lime blossom and honey may also emerge, adding further complexity to its aromatic profile.
Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, almost entirely in stainless-steel tanks, with a small portion in barriques. The wine then matures for approximately four months on its lees, developing greater structure and fullness. On the palate, it is elegant, refined and richly fresh. It pairs beautifully with pasta, rice and cereal-based first courses, vegetable dishes and grilled white meat without heavy seasoning. Serve at 12-14 °C. The wine reaches its best expression after approximately three to four months of bottle aging, when its freshness, aromatic finesse and balanced structure come together harmoniously.
