The Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC Opes from Ritterhof presents a fresh, linear profile, pleasantly immediate. In the glass it offers notes of white-fleshed fruit, delicate citrus and a floral hint that does not overpower; the texture is supported by lively acidity and a restrained minerality that gives the sip a clean character. It does not seek bombast: it is slender but well-defined, with a body that remains harmonious and a persistence that highlights the simplicity of the fruit. It is a versatile wine, suitable both for aperitif and for lighter-flavored dishes: seafood crudités, composed salads, delicate risottos and well-seasoned white meats.

It is best enjoyed chilled, served so as to enhance its freshness, and it lends itself to being drunk young to capture its aromatic purity. For those seeking a Pinot Grigio with measured rhythm and discreet elegance, this Opes offers a modern, gastronomic interpretation of Alto Adige without frills.
