The Pinot Grigio Collio DOC Ronco dei Folo from Folonari is a white wine with a balanced character, intended for everyday drinking while showing recognizable care in production. It displays a bright straw-yellow color and a straightforward aromatic profile: notes of pear, apple and a hint of citrus emerge, accompanied by a moderate minerality that supports the palate without weighing it down. On the palate it shows pleasant freshness, a restrained body and agreeable persistence, with a clean finish that invites a second glass.

This wine is suited to easy pairings; it goes well with light starters, not overly seasoned fish, salads and first courses based on vegetables. It is recommended to serve it chilled, in not-too-large glasses, to highlight its aromas and gustatory balance. Ronco dei Folo's offering sits within the Collio tradition without excess, providing a reliable choice for informal yet cared-for occasions.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
