Pinot Noir Alto Adige DOC Dignus from Ritterhof presents an elegant, measured profile: in the glass it is clear, light ruby in color with garnet reflections. On the nose there are aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and a subtle floral note reminiscent of rose, accompanied by a spicy, earthy hint that does not overpower the whole. On the palate it surprises with lively freshness and acidic tension, with fine, smooth tannins that support the fruit without weighing it down, making the wine easy-drinking and pleasant.

The finish is pleasant and leaves a slightly savory streak that invites a second sip; it is a Pinot Noir that favors balance and drinkability rather than opulence. It pairs with roasted white meats, mushrooms, Alpine-style dishes and semi-aged cheeses; it is ideal served at around 16-18 °C and lends itself both to being enjoyed young and to a few more years of bottle evolution.
