Questo Pinot Noir proveniente dalla regione vinicola della Pfalz, in Germania, offre un'intrigante combinazione di eleganza e complessità. Il Vom Buntsandstein presenta un colore rosso rubino intenso, con riflessi violacei. Al naso si possono percepire sentori di ciliegia, fragola e note floreali, mentre al palato risulta equilibrato, con una piacevole acidità e tannini setosi. Il lungo finale lascia un gradevole retrogusto di frutta rossa. Ideale da abbinare a piatti a base di carne rossa e formaggi stagionati. Buono da bere subito, ma con un grande potenziale di invecchiamento.
