This Primitivo di Puglia IGT in magnum format from Desire Lush & Zin offers an intense, direct aromatic profile with notes of ripe red and black fruit, hints of sweet spices and a slight balsamic touch. The color is deep ruby and clear; on the nose there is good concentration while fresh nuances of small fruits and floral touches also emerge. The fresh acidity appears to balance the fruity richness, while the magnum format tends to highlight a perceived softness in tasting.

On the palate it is full and enveloping, with a well-defined structure and soft tannins that aid drinkability. The magnum format emphasizes its development in the glass and makes it suitable for convivial gatherings and important meals: a good match for roasted meats, aged cheeses or flavorful Mediterranean dishes. Serve at a moderate temperature and open a few minutes in advance to best appreciate the aromas.
