Polvanera's Primitivo Puglia IGT presents a direct, generous profile, typical of the variety but without excess. In color it shows a deep ruby; on the nose, ripe red fruits emerge, faint jammy notes and a hint of sweet spices that add warmth. You immediately appreciate the substance: concentrated fruit supported by an inner freshness that prevents heaviness, while the tannins are smooth and well integrated, contributing to a full, enveloping sip. A subtle herbaceous note balances the fruit's richness.

On the palate the wine maintains its straightforward character, with a medium-full body and a pleasant fluidity; the sapidity and return of fruit make the finish persistent without becoming cloying. It suits rustic Italian dishes — grilled meats, meat ragù or aged cheeses — but also stands up to spicier preparations. A short aeration further softens its contours and opens the bouquet, making it even more ready to drink; ideal for convivial dinners and for those seeking an easy-drinking Primitivo.
