Primo Scuro presents a generous texture and a Mediterranean character: the aromatic profile recalls ripe red fruit and hints of maquis and delicate spices, never coming across as excessive.

On the palate it shows a straightforward progression, with a decisive body and tannins that are present but well integrated; freshness supports the sip and gives lift, while the structure provides persistence. The result is a Cannonau with a pleasantly rustic yet balanced tone, suited to those seeking a wine that is assertive but not coarse. On the palate the tannic structure and the savory element make it an excellent companion to characterful dishes: grilled meats, game birds, aged cheeses and hearty sauces enhance its personality. It is enjoyable when served not too warm to appreciate its complexity; it also leaves room for informal convivial moments, when you want a wine capable of supporting the dish without overpowering it.
