The Querciabella Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione represents the qualitative pinnacle of Querciabella's production, a winery that has always placed emphasis on the exceptional nature of the Tuscan terroir and the excellence of Sangiovese. The "Gran Selezione" denomination indicates the highest level of quality within the Chianti Classico classification, reserved exclusively for wines produced with grapes grown and harvested directly from the cellars, which have undergone a longer aging period and which are subjected to rigorous tasting standards.

Querciabella, with its dedication to organic and biodynamic agriculture, draws the best from its vineyards located in some of the most prestigious areas of Chianti Classico. The commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices allows us to obtain Sangiovese grapes of the highest quality, which fully express the richness and complexity of the terroir.

The winemaking process of Querciabella's Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione aims to preserve the integrity and purity of the fruit, using techniques that emphasize the natural expression of the grape variety. The refinement, carried out in French oak barriques, helps to integrate the tannins and develop an aromatic complexity that further enriches the profile of the wine, without ever overpowering the essence of the Sangiovese.

Visually, the wine presents a deep and bright ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a wide range of aromas: notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, floral accents of violets, along with nuances of tobacco, leather and a light spiciness that reflects the elegant interaction with the wood. The distinctive minerality of the terroir emerges, giving depth and character.

In the mouth, the Querciabella Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione reveals a full body and a well-defined tannic structure, balanced by a fresh acidity that gives liveliness to the wine. Ripe fruit flavors blend with earthy and spicy notes, leading to a long and persistent finish that leaves a sensation of harmony and refinement.

This wine is ideal for special occasions and pairs beautifully with rich and structured dishes, such as grilled red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses. Its complexity and elegance also make it a perfect companion for moments of meditation.

The Querciabella Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione is an authentic expression of Querciabella's commitment to excellence, representing a perfect synthesis between loyalty to the territory and sustainable innovation, which together create wines of unparalleled quality and beauty.
