The Riesling Trocken by Schäfer-Fröhlich is an extraordinary specimen that captures the essence of the Bockenau terroir, a region famed for its Riesling production in Germany. This wine is known for its perfect balance between sharp acidity and a delicate residual sweetness, elements that harmoniously blend thanks to the refined winemaking process adopted by Schäfer-Fröhlich Winery.

Visually, the wine displays a bright straw-yellow color, with hues ranging from green to golden, typical of a young, quality Riesling. Aromatically, it releases an intensely fruity bouquet, with predominant scents of green apple, peach, and subtle notes of lime and white flowers, typical of the Riesling variety.

On the palate, Schäfer-Fröhlich's Riesling Trocken reveals its true nature: lively and refreshing. The high acidity is well balanced by fruitiness and a slight minerality, echoing the unique characteristics of the volcanic soil origin. These peculiarities lend a surprising complexity that persists in the long and pleasing finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with fish dishes, sushi and sashimi, as well as light salads and seafood-based dishes. The recommended serving temperature is between 8-10°C to fully enhance its qualities.

Schäfer-Fröhlich, a winery with a long tradition in winemaking, has created in this Riesling Trocken an excellent example of how tradition and modernity can converge in the creation of wines that are both refreshing and rich in history. A true gem for Riesling lovers looking for a wine that offers both immediate pleasantness and aging potential.
