Livia Fontana's Roero Arneis DOCG 2025 offers a bright, immediate portrait: aromas of white flowers, ripe pear and a subtle citrus peel that never overpowers the overall balance. In the glass it shows medium body, with lively freshness balanced by a pleasant salinity and a slightly creamy texture that makes the sip smooth. It is not a wine that aims for opulence, but rather for cleanliness and precision, with mineral notes accompanying each taste to a gentle persistence. The herbaceous component is discreet and helps give it a recognizable character, while the finish remains fresh and clean.

Drinkable already today, this Arneis lends itself to many pairings: seafood starters, delicate shellfish, vegetable risottos and fresh or goat cheeses. It is best enjoyed served cool, around 10–12 °C, to enhance its aromatics and the contrast between acidity and salinity. It's an everyday but well-crafted white that delivers immediacy in the glass without sacrificing personality; it works well both at the table and as a conversational wine to start the evening.
