The "Romagna DOP Sangiovese Superiore Riserva - Luis" from the acclaimed winery Podere dell'Angelo represents an excellent expression of the Romagna region, renowned for its rich and intense wines. This wine is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, the symbolic varietal of the region, known for its ability to develop into wines of deep complexity and character.

Late harvesting and meticulous grape selection result in a wine of superior quality. The Sangiovese here reveals a surprising balance between power and elegance. Maturation in barrique for more than two years helps create a complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits blend harmoniously with dark spice nuances, vanilla, and a slight touch of tobacco from the wood aging.

Visually, the wine exhibits an intense ruby red color that tends to orange with aging. On the palate, "Luis" is robust yet balanced, with well-integrated tannins and a long persistence that leaves a pleasant sensation of warmth and complexity. This Sangiovese Superiore Riserva is suitable for special occasions and pairs perfectly with structured dishes such as grilled red meats, stews, and aged cheeses.

The care in production and attention to detail are palpable in every sip, making this wine not only a pleasure for the palate but also a tribute to the winemaking tradition of Romagna. A true gem for Sangiovese lovers and collectors of highly expressive Italian wines.

Production philosophy
The winery follows organic farming practices, avoiding chemical herbicides and synthetic fertilizers, and favors non-invasive cellar interventions. It aims to express the terroir through its wines, with a sustainability approach that includes a photovoltaic system and a phytodepuration tank. Since the 2021 harvest its products have been labeled organic.
Terroir and vineyards
