This six-year-old Panamanian rum offers an immediate, reassuring profile: on the nose it opens with notes of cooked cane sugar, soft caramel and a light vanilla, with a shy fruity streak reminiscent of ripe peach and orange peel. The sip is warm but balanced, rounded in the mid-palate and supported by a thread of sweetness that doesn’t overpower; no tannins, a velvety mouthfeel and echoes of bitter cocoa on the finish. Its overall clarity makes it pleasant even in a simple glass, without the need for artifices.

Presented in the three-liter format with a case, it’s designed for those who enjoy conviviality or want a reliable option for quality mixing: it works well neat at room temperature, with a single ice cube to open its aromas, or as a base for classic cocktails that require a soft, aromatic rum. Pairings: dark chocolate, caramel-based desserts or matured cheeses with a strong character. A versatile, immediate and satisfying choice for those seeking a straightforward, easy-to-read rum.
