The Rosso IGP Vitiano di Falesco is a wine that embodies the balance and territoriality of Umbria, a production area renowned for the quality of its grapes. Born from the blend of indigenous and international grape varieties, this red stands out for the harmony between structure and freshness, enhanced by careful vinification and aging in steel that preserves liveliness and intense aromas.

In the glass, it presents a bright ruby color, while on the nose it opens with scents of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a delicate floral touch. The taste is enveloping, with soft tannins and a pleasant sapidity that invites further sips. Perfect to accompany meat dishes, mushroom-based preparations, and aged cheeses, the Rosso IGP Vitiano di Falesco is an ideal companion for everyday meals and special occasions.

The brand is part of the Famiglia Cotarella group, undergoing a generational transition to the next generation.
Winery history
The winery was founded by brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella with the aim of restoring the historic vineyards of Alto Lazio and developing a modern winemaking project. Over time the business has expanded with vineyards and operational facilities between Montefiascone and Montecchio, giving rise to the group now also identified by the Famiglia Cotarella brand.
Production philosophy
Research and enhancement of the local heritage, combined with the use of modern winery technology: production balances a focus on native varieties with the use of international grape varieties for some flagship wines.
