Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses
In the glass it shows a lively ruby colour with violet highlights and an aromatic profile focused on ripe red fruit, dried petals and light spicy, balsamic notes. It’s an IGT red that impresses for its balance between freshness and body: the aromas are not overpowering but well defined, the spice is subtle and invites a sip. The structure is enjoyable, the tannins are soft and polished without weighing down, and the savoury/saline note supports the drinking, giving a pleasant ease of drinking and a warm, enveloping finish.

On the palate it has a rounded progression, with echoes of cherry, small wild berries and a gentle spicy hint; the texture is silky and the palate remains clean through to a finish of moderate persistence. It’s a straightforward wine, well suited to everyday-quality dishes: grilled meats, mushroom preparations, flavorful sauces or medium-aged cheeses, but it also stands up well to an informal table. It opens nicely with a short rest in a carafe or when poured into a wide glass; serve at a restrained temperature to highlight freshness and aromatic clarity.
