Rosso Rubicone IGT Aulente di San Patrignano è un vino rosso di grande personalità, proveniente dalla rinomata cantina sita nel cuore dell'Emilia-Romagna. Questo vino è ottenuto principalmente da uve Sangiovese, con l'aggiunta di altre varietà autoctone che ne arricchiscono il profilo aromatico. Al calice, si presenta con un colore rosso rubino intenso, sfumato da riflessi violacei.

Il bouquet olfattivo è ampio e complesso; spiccano note di frutti rossi maturi come ciliegia e lampone, accompagnate da leggeri sentori di spezie dolci e tocchi erbacei. In bocca, Aulente è un vino di buona struttura, equilibrato e dai tannini morbidi. La freschezza e l'acidità tipiche del Sangiovese donano una piacevole bevibilità e una lunga persistenza aromatica.

Grazie al suo equilibrio e alla sua versatilità, questo vino si abbina splendidamente a piatti di carne, come arrosti e grigliate, ma anche a formaggi stagionati e salumi tipici della tradizione italiana. Perfetto anche per accompagnare piatti di pasta al ragù o alla bolognese. Per apprezzarne al meglio le qualità organolettiche, si consiglia di servirlo a una temperatura di circa 16-18°C.

A social and educational project integrated into the Community's winemaking. Vineyards on the Colli di Rimini, a few kilometres from the Adriatic Sea Cultivated area reported in the social report: 116.73 hectares Full production range: reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines; flagship label Montepirolo Online shop and gift catalog linked to the Community's production.
Winery history
The winery was established in the late 1970s within the Comunità di San Patrignano. Initially, it produced straightforward Sangiovese and Trebbiano wines using artisanal methods. Over the years the vineyards were expanded and new plantings introduced, including international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet and Chardonnay. The Montepirolo line has become the flagship label, the result of investments in the vineyard and winemaking.
Production philosophy
Wine production is part of a social and educational project: work in the vineyard and cellar provides professional training opportunities for the young people of the Community, with a focus on wine quality and sustainable practices.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the hills surrounding Rimini, a few kilometres from the Adriatic Sea and Monte Titano, with an average elevation of around 200 m. The soils are predominantly clayey and rich in limestone, a characteristic that contributes to the identity of the wines.
Awards and recognitions
Montepirolo has received the "Tre Bicchieri" award from Gambero Rosso.
