The Rosso Toscana IGT Antico Feudo di Ricasoli is a red wine of traditional character that emphasizes balance and ease of drinking. It shows a compact ruby colour; on the nose it opens with notes of ripe red fruit, light sweet spice touches and a hint of earthy nuances. On the palate it is harmonious, with moderate structure, smooth tannins and a freshness that supports the sip without overpowering it. The progression is straightforward, with fruity returns and a pleasantly dry finish.

It pairs well with everyday Italian dishes: pasta with ragù, flavourful white meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve slightly cool relative to room temperature, in broad glasses to encourage aromatic expression. It is suitable for immediate consumption as well as short bottle aging; a light decanting is advised if you wish to open the aromas earlier. The label bears the Ricasoli name and reflects a sincere, approachable proposition.
