Braccale is a red wine labelled Toscana IGT and associated with Jacopo Biondi Santi. The available product information does not specify a vintage or provide details about grape varieties, aromatic profile or ageing. This description therefore remains deliberately concise and does not attribute unconfirmed characteristics to the wine. The name and the indication on the label are the reliable details for identifying it, without setting specific expectations about its taste.

At the table, it may be considered alongside meat dishes, savoury pasta dishes or cheeses, with the pairing chosen according to the recipe and personal preferences. To enjoy it, follow the guidance on the label and allow it to breathe only if tasting suggests this would be helpful. It may be a choice for those looking for a Tuscan red carrying the IGT indication and wishing to assess the specific contents of the bottle rather than rely on generic descriptors. The vintage and further details can be checked on the bottle.

Castello di Montepò – Winery in Tuscany

Discover the story and wines of Castello di Montepò.

Biondi Santi family estate in the Tuscan Maremma, chosen by Jacopo Biondi Santi for a winemaking project rooted in the Scansano area.
Region: Tuscany
Country: Italy
Winery history
The estate brings together the history of Castello di Montepò and the Biondi Santi family’s winemaking tradition, whose roots go back to the 19th century and Ferruccio Biondi Santi. Jacopo Biondi Santi chose Montepò to give this heritage new expression through wines in a contemporary style.
Production philosophy
The winemaking philosophy seeks to bring out the interaction between grape and terroir, with an emphasis on quality and consistency of expression. Alongside Sangiovese Grosso BBS 11, the family’s exclusive heritage, the estate also grows international varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is in the Tuscan Maremma, in the Scansano area south of Grosseto. Its vineyards cover about 50 hectares of the property and lie at elevations of 300 to 460 metres. The winery describes the soils as Eocene in origin, with clay and schist components.
