The Rosso Toscana IGT Roncaia of Il Poggiolino is born in the Tuscan hills, an authentic expression of the territory and the local winemaking passion. Obtained from a skillfully selected blend of indigenous grape varieties, this wine stands out for its enveloping character and balanced structure. The aging takes place in wooden barrels that give the wine an aromatic complexity rich in fruity and spicy notes, with elegant hints of cherry, plum, and light tobacco aromas. On the palate, it is soft and persistent, with refined tannins inviting a long tasting.

Winery history
The estate traces its roots to the area around Badia a Passignano. The family villa dates back to the early 20th century and, after several phases of development, the estate became the property of Carlo Pacini in 1974. Over time the property has expanded while preserving its commitment to traditional viticulture and to promoting the local area.
Production philosophy
The estate prioritizes quality and respect for the land: artisanal care in the vineyard and careful oversight of every production stage, thanks to a vertically integrated model that combines its own vineyards and winery. The approach focuses on selecting the best grapes and on limited production when the vintages require it.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Chianti Classico, the estate is on Via Chiantigiana, with vineyards planted at approximately 320–400 metres above sea level. The landscape is typical of the Chianti hills, well suited to Sangiovese.
