Il Rubiolo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC 2023 by Orlando Contucci Ponno is a red wine that expresses vibrant energy and the typical robustness of Montepulciano, enriched by careful and traditional production. This wine presents itself with an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections that reveal its youth and freshness. On the nose, it stands out for its rich aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, enriched by spicy notes and a slight touch of vanilla, due to the light aging in wood.

In the mouth, Rubiolo reveals a medium-full body, with well-structured but soft tannins, which give balance and drinkability. The acidity is well balanced, making it particularly suitable to accompany a wide range of dishes, from roasted red meats to more flavorful preparations of Abruzzo cuisine. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 16-18°C to fully appreciate its qualities.

With its DOC designation of origin, this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo ensures a rigorous adherence to production methods that enhance the territory of origin, guaranteeing authenticity and quality in every sip. A true gem for lovers of robust and characteristic wines.
