The finish is warm and enveloping, with echoes of toasted caramel and a touch of gentle pepper that close the picture harmoniously. Versatile in use, it holds up well neat or served with a little ice, and adds body to classic rum-based cocktails without overpowering them. Also ideal as a digestif after flavorful meals, it pairs successfully with dark chocolate or aged cheeses; a serving temperature of around 16–20 °C is recommended to fully appreciate its balance.
