Baron De Ladoucette's Sancerre Rouge "Comte Lafond" is a stunning expression of Pinot Noir from the renowned Loire Valley region of France. This wine represents the excellence and tradition of the Baron De Ladoucette winery, known for producing high quality wines that reflect the uniqueness and purity of their terroirs. The "Comte Lafond" pays homage to the nobility and elegance of Pinot Noir, a vine which, although more famous for its whites than Sauvignon Blanc, finds in Sancerre an ideal terroir also for reds of character and finesse.

The Pinot Noir grapes for the Sancerre Rouge "Comte Lafond" are carefully selected from the best Sancerre vineyards, where the calcareous soil and temperate climatic conditions favor optimal ripening of the fruit, giving the wine an extraordinary aromatic complexity and a balanced structure. The winemaking is carried out with great care, using techniques that allow us to preserve the delicate varietal characteristics of Pinot Noir and enhance its natural elegance.

The result is a wine with a brilliant ruby red color, with nuances that can vary towards garnet as it evolves in the bottle. On the nose, the Sancerre Rouge "Comte Lafond" unfolds a wide range of aromas: notes of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries blend with floral and spicy nuances, enriched by delicate hints of undergrowth and a light mineral vein that reflects the character of its terroir.

In the mouth, the wine expresses notable elegance and finesse, with soft and well-integrated tannins that accompany a lively freshness. The flavor palette faithfully follows the olfactory profile, offering a long and satisfying aromatic persistence, with a perfect balance between fruitiness, minerality and a subtle touch of wood resulting from refinement.

Ideal in combination with white meats, mushroom-based dishes, soft cheeses and preparations of traditional French cuisine, the Sancerre Rouge "Comte Lafond" by Baron De Ladoucette is a wine to be discovered and appreciated for its ability to combine intensity and delicacy, offering a rich and complex tasting experience.

Through his Sancerre Rouge "Comte Lafond", Baron De Ladoucette once again demonstrates the ability to produce red wines that are both faithful expressions of their terroir and testimonies of high-quality winemaking art, keeping tradition alive and excellence that characterize the cellar.
