The Sancerre Rouge "Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes La Poussie" by Baron De Ladoucette is a masterful demonstration of the elegance and complexity that Pinot Noir can achieve in the hands of an expert producer, in the context of an exceptional terroir such as that of Sancerre, in Loire Valley. Produced with grapes from old vines, this special cuvée "La Poussie" highlights the importance of history, heritage and quality that Baron De Ladoucette instills in every bottle.

The old Pinot Noir vineyards, carefully selected for this wine, are located in one of the most prestigious areas of Sancerre, where the calcareous soil and optimal exposure help to create an ideal microclimate for the ripening of the grapes. The advanced age of the vines ensures a low yield but an exceptional concentration of flavors and an aromatic complexity that only old vines can offer.

The "Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes La Poussie" is the result of careful vinification and aging in wood that respects and enhances the intrinsic qualities of Pinot Noir, allowing the wine to fully express the characteristics of the Sancerre terroir. This process gives the wine a refined structure, silky tannins and an aromatic richness that blends harmoniously with subtle woody notes.

Visually, the wine presents a deep ruby red color, a prelude to its richness and intensity. On the nose, the bouquet is complex and seductive, with aromas of ripe red fruit, floral and spicy notes, enriched by undergrowth nuances and an elegant touch of oak. This olfactory complexity invites a tasting that promises to be rich and layered.

In the mouth, the "Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes La Poussie" offers a perfect balance between acidity and tannins, with a medium body that carries the flavors of cherry, raspberry and spice, along with a subtle minerality reminiscent of the limestone terroir of Sancerre. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant elegance that reflects the high quality of the wine.

Ideal in combination with delicate meat dishes, roast poultry, mushroom dishes and medium-aged cheeses, the "Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes La Poussie" by Baron De Ladoucette is also an excellent wine for contemplation, which continues to reveal new nuances and complexity with evolution in the glass.

With his "Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes La Poussie", Baron De Ladoucette celebrates the art of viticulture and winemaking in the Loire Valley, offering wine lovers a tasting experience of the highest level that connects history, territory and innovation in every sip.
