This wine brings together Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon in a straightforward, approachable style. Ruby red with violet highlights, on the nose it shows aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, accompanied by light spicy notes and a subtle herbaceous hint recalling a Mediterranean edge. The attack is fresh, the structure balanced and the tannins restrained, with a progression that favors immediate drinking while maintaining reasonable flavor persistence. Its tone and direct approach also make it suitable for those new to red wines.

Suitable for everyday drinking and at the table, it pairs well with simple meat dishes, cold cuts, semi-firm cheeses and tomato-based pasta. It also works as a convivial wine for informal moments. Serve at a moderate temperature, around 16-18 °C, and open a few minutes beforehand to allow the aromas to develop. Produced by Folonari under the Toscana IGT denomination, it is intended for those seeking a straightforward, pleasant red without excess.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
