The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Riserva "Petrignone" from Tremonti is an organic wine that conveys the classic character of Sangiovese in Romagna. In the glass it shows a clear ruby color with garnet reflections; on the nose it opens with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, accompanied by notes of small wild berries and light earthy nuances. The aromatic expression remains restrained and focused, without excess.

On the palate it is medium-bodied with supported yet ripe tannins, lively acidity that provides freshness and supports drinkability. The finish is savory and persistent, with fruity recalls and a hint of spice. It pairs with rustic dishes, cured meats, pasta with ragù and flavorful white meats; recommended serving temperature is around 16–18 °C and short decanting can help open the aromas. It shows balance between structure and freshness and can be enjoyed now or after some bottle development.
