Pairing Red meats, cured meats, aged cheeses
In the glass it shows a bright ruby red with violet hues; on the nose it expresses straightforward red fruit — cherry and raspberry — complemented by light floral notes and herbal hints that give it character. The sip is fresh and direct, supported by good acidity that balances the tannic structure; the texture is lean but well-defined, with a savory finish that invites the next glass. It is a Sangiovese of authentic temperament, not muscular but substantial, ideal for those seeking precision and balance.

It pairs easily with traditional dishes: over a rustic ragù, with aged cured meats or semi-aged cheeses it finds the right counterpoint without overpowering. It should be served slightly cool, around 16–18°C, and is suitable both for immediate consumption and for a few months in the cellar for those who prefer to soften the tannins. In service it proves versatile and suitable for everyday drinking, perfect for an informal yet well-curated dinner. It also lends itself to small creative pairings, such as mushrooms or grilled meats, where its freshness is highlighted.
