Villa Emme's Sangiovese Superiore Passito shows a deep ruby color with garnet highlights; the texture is slightly viscous, indicating sugar concentration. On the nose it presents an appealing range of ripe red fruit and dried fruit — cherry, plum and sour cherry — accompanied by warmer notes of sweet spices, candied orange peel and a subtle hint of cocoa. The aromatic profile is complex yet balanced, without excess, inviting a careful exploration of its nuances.

On the palate the sweetness is enveloping and soft, but supported by lively acidity that prevents heaviness; the tannins are gentle and provide structure, contributing to a pleasant, warm finish. It makes a contemplative wine that pairs well with desserts featuring dried or candied fruit, dark chocolate desserts and aged or blue cheeses; it can also be enjoyed as an after-dinner wine. Serve at about 14–16°C and pour slowly to let the aromas unfold; store protected from heat sources.
